This can be a great place to start (and many people just stick with it as their primary strategy) because you truly don’t create much of anything - not even the full sales funnel, which we’ll talk about later...
Because remember, Affiliate Marketing is all about promoting someone else’s product or service and getting paid a commission for bringing that company a customer / sale. You promote the product and when the customer clicks your affiliate link it takes that person to the company’s sales funnel and then THEY sell it FOR you - and themselves obviously 😉
This is such a lucrative business model that there are several Affiliate Networks that are literally marketplaces that connect product owners with Freelance Digital Marketers.
Product owners list their products in hopes of attracting Freelance Digital Marketers and then you get to select from thousands of products in hundreds of niches. Anything you can think of probably has an affiliate opportunity. It’s win-win.
Another great thing about Affiliate Networks is that they provide important information. Things like, how well the product sells, how much you earn per sale, and more. This makes selecting products a bit easier.
So you find a product or service that you like and you market those offers to earn commissions. ClickBank and Digistore24 are two of the most reputable networks around. They provide lots to choose from.
There's a brand new model of Affiliate Marketing now that's been dubbed a Dynamic Partner Program, and it was developed by the creators of the Roadmap Exclusive business development course and it's pretty amazing.
It's similar to Affiliate Marketing in that you're still promoting someone else's product and getting paid a commission for each sale, but they've structure the compensation program so that affiliates get paid immediately (vs. monthly, or bi-monthly like other program) and most importantly, the customer(s) you bring to their product STAY YOUR customers!
They don't market to your customers, which means you can continue to stay in touch with your leads and service them with additional products that can help their journey.
Many digital products have Private Label Rights (PLR), which means the license enables you to a) modify the product, b) rebrand it as your own, c) and then sell it as your own! It’s pretty cool. There are PLR Marketplaces too, similar to the affiliate networks. The PLR Project is an INCREDIBLE one, and by far the best value I’ve ever seen!
P.S. - Don't confuse this with Master Resell Rights (or MRR) because they are different.
And of course, you can obviously also sell...
Don’t let this scare you - seriously!!
In some ways this is where the true magic of Digital Marketing plays out. Take whatever you love to do, and you’re good at, and probably already teach to other people... and make it into a downloadable document or video and sell it 24/7 forever to people all over the world! I mean, that's pretty awesome!
Or turn it into a full blown course that you can sell at a higher price point...

It’s wise to have AT LEAST
This mix greatly increases your sales because it broadens your customer base and allows you to easily have add-ons for promotions and upsells that people will WANT.
THIS is how you scale your business! When a business is “scalable” it means it has the ability to increase sales and revenue easily. In this business you always have the ability to easily offer more - it’s endless really.
You can even have multiple niches and just keep selling until your heart’s content! The sky’s the limit - seriously. This is a business where you can think (and grow) BIG!
